Turnkey Sale: USDA-Inspected Beef & Bison Processing Facility, Idaho Falls, Idaho
Turnkey Sale: USDA-Inspected Beef & Bison Processing Facility, Idaho Falls, Idaho, Idaho Falls, Idaho
Sale Overview

90,000 SF purpose-built plant on 12 acres, constructed 2022. Real estate and complete equipment package offered together, turnkey. Receivership sale.

M&M Equipment Corp. is acting as equipment advisor on the turnkey sale of the former Intermountain Packing facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho, alongside Keen-Summit Capital Partners as real estate advisor and Gordon Brothers as equipment advisor. This is not a lot-by-lot liquidation. The real estate and the complete equipment package are being offered together as one operating plant. A buyer acquires a four-year-old, USDA-inspected harvest, fabrication, and packaging operation ready to run, rather than assembling one.

Intermountain Packing is one of the newest purpose-built beef and bison processing plants in the United States. The facility was constructed in 2022 with a boiler room added in 2023, and carries USDA inspection for slaughter, fabrication, and packaging under one roof. Rated slaughter capacity is 500 head per day across three fabrication and boning lines of 660 feet each.

Everything required to operate is included: the buildings, the land, the utilities infrastructure, the processing and packaging lines, the refrigeration, the on-site wastewater treatment plant, the office, and the rolling stock. Replacement cost for a plant of this specification today is a multiple of what this asset will trade for.
