MATRIX MORPHEUS 1215SR3 VERTICAL FORM FILL SEAL SYSTEM

Matrix Packaging Morpheus MVC-300 continuous-motion vertical form fill seal machine paired with a Yamato ADW-0-0114S combination scale, incline cleated conveyor, shaker conveyor, exit conveyor with fortress metal detector, and washdown turntable. This system is rated for production speeds of up to 190 bags per minute, depending on the product and application.

Bag size capability ranges from 2.75″ to 12″ wide and 2″ to 15″ long. The machine is currently equipped with 13″ wide sealing jaws and can accommodate film rolls up to 14″ in diameter.

Features include a stainless-steel frame, washdown-duty motors, print registration, and a Videojet DataFlex 6530 continuous thermal printer. Controls include a Beckhoff PC239 PLC and Pro Mach HMI.

The Yamato 14-head scale is fitted with 1-liter embossed buckets and is designed for products up to 60 mm in maximum piece size, with a maximum single discharge weight of 500 grams.

Included with the system are a washdown cleated infeed conveyor, an inclined discharge conveyor with integrated Fortress Stealth WD metal detector, and a 47″ diameter washdown turntable. The equipment was most recently configured for IQF vegetables, fruits, and meat snacks.

A stainless-steel mezzanine work platform is available for an additional cost.
